THE TEAM
Lydia Hyslop is a filmmaker, writer, and actress currently hiding out in rural North Carolina. Her directorial debut, Burnout, had its world premiere at Wilmington, NC’s notorious Cucalorus Film Festival in 2013. Lydia wrote, directed, and produced the film, which went on to win Best Narrative Feature at Oxford Film Festival in 2015. Over the last decade, Lydia has parlayed her passion for home-cooked food and being everyone's mom into a catering gig on numerous indie features including many Duplass Brothers features like The One I Love, Paddleton, Blue Jay, and Take Me. Lydia currently serves on the Board of Directors at Cucalorus Film Festival and delights in being mama to her nine-year-old, two cats, a flock of backyard chickens, and Moondog, the three-legged pug.

Jen West is a filmmaker and producer from Birmingham, Alabama. She recently produced the feature film A Fresh Hell and is known for her award-winning shorts Crush, Bubble, and Little Cabbage. She serves on the board of the Cucalorus Film Festival and works closely with writers and directors to develop story-driven independent films. She is based in Los Angeles.

Recent Sundance credits include Fancy Dance, Earth Mama, All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt, Minari, Summering, and The Death of Dick Long. She has served as production counsel for A24, XTR, Tadmor Entertainment, and Erwin Brothers Entertainment.

Gayle Pillsbury CSA, is a casting director and producer with over 20 years of experience casting prestigious television series and feature films including Pretty Little Liars, White Collar, and The Purge. Before establishing her own casting company, she served as Head of Talent and Casting at Imagine Television.

Jeremy has written and produced features, short films, documentaries, music videos, and everything in between. His 2025 crime thriller Don't Die received U.S. distribution from Chroma and has since expanded to Europe and Japan. Most recently, Jeremy produced the forthcoming narrative feature from documentarians Bradford Thomason & Brett Whitcomb (Butterfly in the Sky, Jasper Mall).

Robbi Webb is a longtime beauty and digital executive, professional problem-solver, hype man equivalent of walk-on music, and occasional wrangler of controlled chaos. After over two decades spent building brands, growing businesses, and figuring out how to turn ambitious ideas into actual outcomes, she’s bringing that same mix of strategy, creativity, curiosity, and “we’ll figure it out and make it great” energy to film. She’s wildly excited to be working with Lydia and this brilliant group of humans to make some movie magic.

Jenifer C. Wallis chairs MWM’s entertainment practice and has more than 20 years of legal experience. She represents individuals and
companies across film, television, music, publishing, and theater, and serves as general counsel to several production companies. Her work includes network negotiations, talent
and location agreements, production matters, and other entertainment-related legal needs.
Entertainment Counsel - Finance
A classically trained musician and former opera singer, Claire will compose the entire original score, some of which will be performed live in the scenes by the actors, necessitating an on-set vocal coach. She has helmed popular LA indie bands with her operatic vocals, Quasi Moon, Honey Child, and Afternoons.

Bree Merkwan is a member of United Scenic Artists Local (IATSE 829) whose credits include No Country for Old Men, Fire Island, You Hurt My Feelings, National Anthem, and The Assistant. She has also served as Art Director on Emmy-winning television, Production Designer for brands including Spotify, Miu Miu, Maybelline, Amazon, and Vice, and as a scenic designer for the Guggenheim Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
